Tayra (Eira barbara)
Range Description
Tayra occur from Tamaulipas in Mexico south to northern Argentina and Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil. Tayra also occur on the island of Trinidad.
Recent Changes
Although the species was currently thought not to inhabit the Caatinga, some specimens were recently found here.
